Chair Joe Ferris called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
Approval of Minutes (9-8-15) – Lisa Lynde moved to approve the minutes of September 8, 2015. The motion was seconded by Sara Young-Knox
Board Member – Sara questioned the possibility of aligning the school fund account with tax bills. No action was taken.
Signing of Checks and Manifest – The manifest was signed as presented.
Attendance at Meetings – Joe (7), Sara (3), Lisa (1)
FYI – Update on Special Education Deficit – This report was reviewed.
FYI –Conway Tuition Payment Due Dates – The correspondence from Becky Jefferson was reviewed.
The SAU #9 Board will meet on November 12th at 6:00 p.m. in the CPDC.
Kevin reviewed the High and Seek presentation put on at KHS.
Set Date for Next Meeting – The next meeting will be on January 12th at 5:30
Set Time for School District Meeting on March 8, 2016 – The time of the district meeting will be 7:00 p.m. on March 8th.
Set Date/Time for Budget Hearing – The budget hearing will be held on
Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. at the Town Hall.
Public Comments – none
Nonpublic Session – Sara Young-Knox moved to enter into Nonpublic Session to discuss renewal of the transportation contract. The motion was seconded by Lisa Lynde and passed 3-0-0 at 5:45 p.m. Lisa Lynde moved to return to Public Session. The motion was seconded by Sara Young-Knox and passed 3-0-0. Joe Ferris moved to seal the minutes of Nonpublic Session. The motion was seconded by Sara Young-Knox and passed 3-0-0.
Lisa Lynde moved to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Sara Young- Knox and passed 3-0-0 at 5:55 p.m.
